This program helps victims of violent crime pay bills that are incurred as the result of the crime. Types of crimes covered are sexual assault, family violence, kidnapping, aggravated robbery, homicide, child abuse, and other crimes where the victim suffers physical or emotional harm or death.

LifeWorks Family Violence Diversion Network (FVDN) is dedicated to creating a safe community by ending domestic violence and advocating for relationships based on equality and respect. FVDN offers psycho-educational groups for adults (male and female) who have been abusive towards their partners. Group goals include taking responsibility for violent and abusive behavior, understanding the dynamics of power and control, learning adaptive communication and conflict resolution skills, and managing emotions in non-aggressive ways.
Family Violence Legal Line ..(800) 374-4673 Provides free legal advice regarding matters of domestic violence, family law, divorce, and child custody, physical or sexual abuse of children. Also provides a Pro Se Protection Order packet for women who are not able to obtain legal representation to achieve protection in family violence matters. Callers may also be referred to attorneys who give free 30-minute consultations, or to agencies that provide free representation.
