Travis county residents living outside Austin must be eligible for the Medical Assistance Program (MAP) to receive services from the City of Austin Dental Clinics. SERVICES: Information, referral, public education, support groups and a number of special programs covering a variety of disability services and information. Provides referrals to services appropriate to meet the needs of people with disabilities. Includes information on housing, transportation, counseling, adaptive equipment, and vocational training. Provides a lending library of adapted toys, equipment, computers and software, and offers training on how to use them. Also provides career assessment, training, and supported work placement for adults with disabilities through their ASERT program. All services are free.
